I started the MBA Soul project to give a voice to the unspoken thoughts of my fellow MBA students.
With social media, we've become expert curators, sharing only what we want to be seen (or what we
think others want to see). It's a shame—we'd be able to help each other so much more if we were willing
to share our full selves, the good and the bad and everything in between. My hope is that this project
starts a conversation and helps viewers to realize that they are not alone.
I chose a room to represent the feeling of being inside someone's mind, with thoughts omnipresent.
But in this case, the mind is communal, with the thoughts sourced
from a whole class of students. I believe there are lessons to be learned in the contradictions:
an isolated room viewable by the entire world and joy mixed with sadness.

Special thanks to:
- Brent for teaching me how to make my first video game. And seeing me through the mipmaps.
- Amie for helping me chill when this project became overwhelming
(and for being a UI ace—full screen all the things).
- Lejla for giving me the encouragement to do this thing when it was just an idea.
- And to all the students at Kellogg who had the courage to share a piece of their stories.
